While others have been constantly looking for ways to speed up production and cut costs, we have been content to continue our handbuilt tradition, one precious clock at a time, just as we did in 1890.
Over the years, our tools and techniques may have been modernized, but out commitment to Old World craftsmanship and pride in our workmanship remains unchanged. Building masterpieces of the woodworker's art and the timekeeper's science. We take particular pride in the quality of each clock we make, and for good reason. Every step in the building of our cabinets is performed by our craftsmen to an exacting standard established by our founders over 114 years ago.
Our building process starts with the wood selection. Unlike many of our competitors, all our cabinets are solid wood, and we hand select only the finest aged and cured hardwoods and veneers available. With each step of the shaping, assembly, and finishing, the wood is treated with great care and respect. When you see one of our clocks, that care and respect is evident in the luster of the finish and in the inner beauty coaxed out from deep inside the wood.
